Works Perfectly--if you get one calibrated correctly... (2007-05-17)
I have a number of these I have purchased from Walmart as a science teacher and at home. The readings are precise and accurate with one proviso: One must find one that is calibrated correctly. They are making a fine instrument, but I am having to return about a third of these very precise instruments because they are not accurately calibrated.
If they fix the quality control issue, these are the best I have seen in this price range for their purpose.
