Nice valve, good price (2008-09-30)
Seems like a really well built valve for the price. I bought one to replace a nearly identical valve that feeds our pool filling line. The only difference is that the old valve had a union built-in on the output side. Not sure how long the existing valve had been there, but probably at least 20 or 30 years. The anti-siphon valve died on the existing valve, so water just spewed out of the anti-siphon cap and I couldn't get it to unscrew to see if the valve was repairable. Anyway, this thing feels very solidly built and seems to work like you'd expect. My only complaint would be that the handle is somewhat hard to turn by hand, as it is designed to be turned by one of those sprinkler control keys.
